I bet a lot of people will throw out a bunch of Bob Marley, but I've long since tired of more than an occasional dose of his beats. I've been expanding my scope of reggae lately and found a lot of stuff I really like as well as a lot of crap.
Right now, mine are:
Burning Spear - Marcus Garvey
Damian Marley - We're gonna make it
Alpha Blondy - Sebe Allah Y'e (right now this album is my avatar)
I'd love to hear some new (for me) good reggae to put on my playlist.

Bob Marley is fantastic but if you want to hear a different reggae band listen to Clint Eastwood and the General Saint.

I would highly recommend Max Romeo's "Open Up the Iron Gate". It's from the early 70s and may be hard to find, but it's been one of my favorites for years.

oh yes yes i just love Bob,Damian and Ziggy there all sooooooo good but my fave reggae song is "red wine" by Bob Marley!=)
