i read that, on average, right handed people live 9 years longer than left handed people. is this true? why? i am right handed and if i wanted to i could learn to use my left hand, would that mean i wouldn't live as long? just wondering.

old wives tale as there are other factors more pertinent to one's lifespan than being right or left handed.

I dont think that fact is true.

That is a flawed data.
In my statistics class we were taught that we could see a trend in anything if we set out to proove our case.

im a lefty and so is my mimi(grandma) and she is 84. i dont think that "fact" is true
