I hear the words "old school" all the time. Who can tell me what these mean 1. FTW 2. naturals 3. slugs 4. commando 5. DFFL

papayosha and chaco taco got the first and last right. The Dest- These terms were around way before hip hop and rap. They are all old biker slang 1F--k the world 2 Bikers used to have one pair of Levis they never washed. They were soaked in grease and oil from their sleds "naturals"3 Slugs were tho original and very dangerous way to extend a glide front end. 4 commando or sidewalk commando was a guy who didn't ride but dressed and talked like a biker, a fake or "wannabe" 5 Dope Forever Forever Loaded- self explanatory

Old School? Well i always figured it was a slang from Old Is Cool, but who can say we werent there. I ride a 69 BSA, I drive a 74 Mercedes coupe. of the 17 motorcycles i own, my 84 Katana is the newest model. My tractor is a 57 Oliver. I mow with an 81 Ford riding mower. I own about 60 bicycles and my favorites are my 1928 Dayton Huffman, and my 46 Schwinn Excelsior. The newest thing i own is the dual P4 HP Server, with 2.4 ghz processors. My deer rifle is a 1970. As for your slang terms, correct slugs are illegal fork extensions. Commando is a partial term of less then endearment, missing a kew expletive. FTW? Fark the world. Naturals? any one of many things DFFL? Well, DILLIGAF?

Old Schools invented motorcycles, as most everything we have. Though they had all the ideas, it took time for technology to catch up with them, Home Computers an example and Cell Phones. Have fun when you ride your Bike and thank an Elderly person for the ride.

*I am old school. I remember a time when us bikers were looked down on and hardly anyone wanted to be a biker, I have riddden daily since 1969. I don't like how modern bikers a dead set on bringing so called respectability to my life style. for me it is a dialy thing not a hobby, and not a toy. My bike is my transportation.*

Not to be offensive but most posters are certainly not old school by any standards.Judging by the posts I would use the term RUB or POSER.

This thread dont' count for nothin'. Being Old School has nothing to do with any of this. Either you're Old School or you're not. You don't have to think about it, and you can't do it "on purpose". Not really, truely Old School. It's sort of like that movie "The Right Stuff". You can't acquire "the right stuff", either you have it or you don't.
