my friend really likes techno and i would like to make her a burnt cd of techno songs. anyone have any awesome suggestions???

When burning a techno cd, listen to the songs to make sure they have some type of decent follow up song. Or else it wont be too great.

Go on Bearshare, and find anything Bye SHY FX. Diary of a Digital Soundboy is a great cd. Andy Nightlife one is awesome, along with Andy Drum N Bass Arena. DJ hype rocks the house as well. Dubplate Killaz Volume 2 is sick. AK 1200, Bad Company (not old rock group) Dara, Diesel Boy, Mickey Finn.

There is only one that I dig, it's called Lazy by David Byrne and some crappy techno group called X-press 2. The only thing that makes the song good is David Byrne's vocals and lyrics. His solo version on Grown Backwards is far superior.

I enjoy SARINA PARIS's songs becuz they are happy techno, not electronica/rave crap.
Try "The Single Life" and "Just About Enough".
Be careful about CASCADA's songs... the beats are really heavy and get annoying becuz they're in every song. "Miracle" and "Can't stop the rain" are nice.

I would defintely recomend "Satisfaction," by Benny Benassi. It's a really good techno song.
