Has there ever been any research, study, or tests by scientists on the probablility of human flight?

I've never found anything on it. Is there any such books on the aspects of flying. All I could find is " the Fear of Flying" and that of the moro reflex gene.

There have been human powered aircraft, if that is what you are asking.

No but just because we do not do it does not mean we do not have the capability to fly. Goats only walk forward and not sideways. Does this mean they can not walk sideways? Human mind is very complex.
