There is a slight chance, but I'm sure if you tried really extremely hard you could. Basically, you'd have to grow. Grow. Grow. And. Grow. You have to be tall to compete. Second, know how to do even the silliest basketball drills with efficiency and ease. You should be able to know your skill level, and try to push it higher every time you step on the court. From there, you just have to let your game speak for itself. If its loud enough, someone will hear it yelling, and soon enough you'll be saying hello to the NBA or WNBA.

Chances arent that high and you have to be committed. I dont think you have to be the best high school player exactly, but you will need to get to a highly rated college for basketball, like UF or Duke or a school like that. If you are at a school where basketball isnt what they are known for, it would be that much harder to get scouted and drafted. But if you start working at it now, you never know what can happen. Try and play ball as much as possible, and become more knowledgeable of the game. Just remember, Jordan was cut twice from his high school team, and look what he has accomplished.

Depending on how old you are and if the NBA will continue to foot the bill for the WBNA you have a 1 in 8,234,789 chances of making it in the "WNBA". Not bad odds.

You don't make it to the NBA by chance. You make it there by heard work. I don't understand why people don't get that.
