No there market is not fair. How els do you think that could make the bubble.

Regulated YES but not as you may think. What is need to a fair open and honest way of selling and buying. Right now there are several MLS and the do not cross list. And there are many home not on the MLS such as foreclosures, new homes, short sale and the list goes on, just stay up late and wacth TV to see how many hidden market there are and each one shorts the market and thus drives up prices. Heck you can not even tell how long a house has been on the market since they may have relisted it.

The regulation that is need is mandatory, public assailable ran MLS for all property bought and sold ran by the county. Then you will have a fair open and honest market.
Could you imagine if your 401k plan was ran this way or any other investments, you would be in court and fast.

It should never be regulated. It isn't the Gov. job to interfere. But yes the housing market is out of control but foreclosesures today were reported at 140%. If you look at a chart when in the 90 whenthe housing market was bad, and you compare it to todays chart, we are way above to almost triple where we were in the 90's.

Supply and Demand.

If government or people start regulating everything than the USA would not have some of top richest people in the world.
