Is is not a taxable income. About her "milking the system" kick her in the @ss and report her. The funding can go to someone who needs it for real! Now that you know this, you are going to find a better broad to be with. Right?

If that is true, sooner or later the I.R.S. will find out about it and afterwards she will get a minimum of 20 years in a federal penitentiary for defrauding the government. Or if you turn her in, you can get up to ten percent of what she defrauded the government of in rewards.

she's probably thinking the Earned Income Credit, and if it's as you stated, then good for her. She may be to lazy to work, but apparently she has talents in ripping off the US taxpayer.
