Don't get me wrong. Federer is one of my favs. But to play devil's advocate, if you have a match against him in the Australian finals, what is your game plan?

Dissect strengths, weaknesses, and talk about strategies with respect to serves, grips, forehands, spacing, volleying, etc.

I don't know that he can be beaten right now. But definitely you cannot allow Roger to draw you into playing his game as he did so effortlessly with Roddick. Federer has shots that are better and more effective than others but at the same time he does not really have a shot weakness. Big serves, well we saw last night his capability to return them, and his points won on second serves is amazing, so a high first serve percentage is necessary. He is mentally strong and will pounce on any sign of frustration, so composure is a must. He can serve and volley, mix it from the base line and adjust to his opponents quickly. The only weakness he may have is that he has not been pushed to five sets in the Open. Honestly I think it's there for him to lose not so much for someone else to win.

Only possible way I could think of is hire a hitman to take him down, but he's way to popular that anyone (including his opponents) who wants to beat him would just wait until he turns 32 and age catches up with him

Kasper is wrong.. You beat Federer by getting an attractive girl play against him because he wont be used to it.
If you dont do this, you will lose miserably.

being inconsistent in game play so that he doesn't figure out one's strengths and weaknesses.....?????

or....I know....maybe if you played loud music all night outside his hotel room....so that he goes real tired to game play.... ; - )

Ask the guy that just beat him.. Gonzalez, right? Sure if you read an article on it they would have to of interviewed the winner and he would give a little insight as to how he won.
