Why can't they just see what has to be done?
Why do women have to tell them what to do?
When they do not do the list at first why do they get mad when the list keeps getting longer and longer posted on the frig.

Women often make a mistake with the honey do list. They tell men what to do. Then they tell them how to do it. One or the other but not both.

Here's the thing
Men hate honey do lists because they would rather do other things with thier free time.
They don't see the things that need to be done because a majority of the things (at least for me) are asthetics (I think that's how you spell it) which men tend to overlook. Personally if it's functional then it's fine in my opinion, but women (at least my wife) demand that it look good too.
Women don't have to tell them what to do, and would probably have better results if the asked for the things to be done rather than telling.
They don't do the list because they don't want to, and there is normally no incentive for doing it.

It represents a responsibility that they have to take care of! My husband says I'm nagging if I remind him that something needs to be fixed and he gets mad if a minor repair job turns into a major replacement job because something didn't get fixed when it could have. Thus "the honey do list"! If you guys don't want to see a honey do list then do a weekly inspection and see what needs to be done! AND DO IT!

Lol...i think that men hate instructions period!
They hate "honey do lists" but they would also hate "honey do-not lists" equally as much.
Example: Honey, do not leave the toilet seat up
Honey, do not leave dirty towels on the floor
etc, etc....
But hey, if the worse thing your man ever does, is neglect to complete his honey do list, be thankful and get over.

here is the deal, they are just to lazy to get off there butt to do any work instead all they do is demand their needs 24/7. they are not blind they see the list plus everything else but its easy for them to play stupid and ignore everything around them unless its sth for them.that's just male nature.

I told my husband I was going to get a plumber to do a job I knew he could do. It was amazing how quickly that job could done - my husband wouldn't pay up, so he did it.
Start hiring.

Your priorities are probably not his priorities. Odds are he's working at getting things done, but just not the things that YOU think need to be done.
