I graduated from UCF with a degree in Accounting but am having trouble finding a job. I do not have much in the way of experience. Most positions require 1-3 years of experience or just a high school dimploma with no experience but only pay $10. I don't mind starting at the bottom, but I need to be able to pay my bills too. Can anyone help me? THANKS!!!

Almost all accountants who want to move up will start out in public accounting usually in auditing and then use that experience to move from there. There is currently a huge shortage of accountants with bachelor's degrees. I think the jobs you are seeing are for entry level bookkeeping/accounting clerk jobs. The Big 4 public accounting firms are the top of the line, KPMG, Ernst&Young, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Deloitte & Touche. You try their websites and get in touch with someone there. The fact you are just starting out is not a problem. I believe the starting salaries at the Big4 is about $45K. You will have to work a lot of hours but you are paying your dues at this point and it will reap huge rewards in just a few years. If those don't work out then try looking at monster.com or yahoojobs search for "public accounting" and you should get tons of results.

The first accounting job I ever got is the one I got now, and that was a staff accountant.

Id say, you should, infact, AIM to start at the bottom. Try to learn as much about every system as you can, and every single process. Try to get involved in AP, AR and payroll.

Ive found that, the higher level accounting positions (atleast in the Corporate world), often want you to have experience with most bottom level accounting functions, and it certainly doesnt help your career if you leap frog those like I did. Even though I understand the principles, and could easily learn anything I dont know, they never want to hear that.
