Actually there is a recommended speed of 130kph on all autobahns. if you have an accident of any kind at speeds higher then this your insurance will not cover it. Also the bahn has only short runs of these high speed areas. if you are entering towns or cities the speeds drop to either 80 or 100kph. But yes the bahn would be excellent in areas of Texas Montana or any other area that is not densely populated.

perhaps you should actually know what the autobahn is before you ask questions about it.
first, it's not ONE HUGE freeway. it's a series of freeways and there in some areas of it. there is also a suggested speed during almost all of it..

No autobahn is needed, but we need many improvements to our highway system, new highways/bridges and improvements to existing ones. Our road systems are outdated.
