And do I need a converter or do the cartridges all fit? I just bought a Gameboy Advance SP online and it didn't come with an instruction booklet...

original gameboy games
gameboy color games
gameboy advance games
Just for your info: there's no such thing as a gameboy advance sp game: they are all called gameboy advance games.

Yes of course you can play gameboy advance sp games on the gameboy advance. The sp is just the updated version of the original... you can play sp games on either console.
