I am a little confused about your question. But I suspect you may be asking, "What information can you get from a LINE graph?"
If this is the case, then line graphs are very good representations of showing TRENDS, like sales going up or down, Or, temperature readings in a given month is relatively flat or has extreme maximum or minimum, or the sexual activity of a male person peaks at ages 18-22 then starts to decline geometrically from there.
The other interpretation of your question is YES, I have a lot of STATISTICS books which gives more information about line graphs and I have created some line graphs of my own.
