No. To me, childhood equals a complete lack of power and the ability for adults to batter and bully you as they will. I far prefer the freedom of being an adult, and the increased knowledge of the world that comes with it.

Yes. I would like to go back and spend a day or two being 9 or 10. It would be fun to be concerned only with what to play next, or dealing with just my family and a few friends, and not know about all of the other responsibilities, decisions, and burdens out in adult life. Mind you, I wouldn't want to stay there, but it would be nice to visit.

No. And I have a son that's turning a year old in a week so I get to see his innocence and that's wonderful for me.

I miss not having responsibility and everyone instantly forgiving you if you screw things up. Yeah I guess I miss the innocence too.

Innocence or ignorance? Maybe those two things are the same. They say ignorance is bliss...and childhood can be blissful. So yeah, I guess I miss not knowing anything...with knowledge comes fear and worry.

Not really. I like having responsibilities, a job, money, paying for bills, having more relations, not being in the dark about everything... I think it's better being "more grown up" - I can't really say grown up since I'm only 19- but you get the idea.

yes some times, but as scripture tells us...

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." 1 Corinthians 13:11

have you ever been on a playground? Have you ever seen how cruel children can be? You speak of innocence as if it is a good thing.

Lions are innocent too, but they will still kill you.
