not really. only difference is that an ipod also plays aac files and you can only use itunes to put songs on it. they both play mp3 files.

Well Let me put it in this way !

" All Ipod`s are Mp3 players , but all Mp3 players are not Ipods "

I pods is a brand name from Apple, that ccan be playes on a I tunes soft ware ,
Mp3 players are music players in general can be found in various brands , and sizes ,
Ipods is expensive , but u can also find Much Expensive Mp3 playes ,

think about it ..

Ipods are just apple's version of an mp3 player, they're the same thing. They're supposed to be better quality, but lately since basically every second ipod breaks, you're just buying it for the looks.

an mp3 player is the general term - an ipod is an mp3 player - it's like saying what's the difference between a kenmore range and a stove...

no but ipods are better quality and are much more esxpensive. They are made by apple and only are compatible with itunes
