My husband and I are coming up on our three year anniversary and I want to give him a strip show because it is totally unlike me. I think it would be the perfect gift to him. Since we had our baby ten months ago we hardly ever make love and when we do its the same old quick thing because our daughter always interrupts. But one evening I'm going to get a sitter and have a sexy evening at home with him. The only problem is I think I'll feel stupid doing a strip tease for him because I feel like he'll be laughing in his head at me and not find it sexy but funny. But, I want him to desire me and not just think of me as the mother of his child. He tells me everyday how beautiful I am but I just can't seem to relax and let it all go when it comes to this. How do I seduce him and feel sexy and not stupid while doing it? I even bought a dvd on how to dance and even have music but I'm scared he'll be laughing and not find it sexy but funny! Any suggestions?

It's really important that you do this for him. What a great idea! You are absolutely on the right rack here, honey. This is the way to keep things fresh and new.
First of all, make it your own. Practice in front of a mirror. Do it to the music if you like but think also of modifying it to suit you. If you feel better doing a "lap dance' sort of thing, I'm sure he will pitch in and help.
This is such a gift of love and the way to begin to step out of yourself, to enjoy being in your own skin and a beautiful way to tell your man how much you care about keeping things alive.
Men are visual creatures and adore seeing the objects of their affection bursting with life. I promise he is going to love you for this and there will be no regrets.
Just remember to do what you are comfortable with, add your own style. You might try wearing HIS clothes (I often wear my guy's shirt and jeans) or letting him undress you f you just can't go all the way. But I believe in you!
If you can do a glass of wine, it will help. Before you even begin on him, make sure to take a long bath, pamper yourself, see yourself doing all you dream, keep it alive in your head. Take your time getting ready and let the night unfold around you.
If more women would take a chance, stretch just a bit for their man the divorce rate would go down and happiness would rise. Be part of that, honey and never forget that he chose you, your are adored by him, he will see you as beautiful.

Good for you. I know that you are very scared that he will laugh (he very may well laugh) but I admire you for even thinking about it. I am sure he will appreciate it no matter how well it goes on (or comes off). I suggest that you arrange to have a drink after work somewhere, then take him to a nice resturant (not pricy but nice), maybe at a hotel. Then take him to a rented room - you don't have to stay all night. The strip will seem better away from home. Then be sure to do thinkgs to him that perhaps you have never done (oral sex - porn on a DVD, etc). And remember that once is not enough. If you stay all night do him at night, in the middle of the night and in the morning. He will remember this anniversary. Let me know how it goes.

Well I think you will feel dumb anyways but it will turn him on because he won't be suspecting it and like you said it is totally not you! And I think it may help you guys out becuase you guys don't have any time to devote to the two of you because there is a child involved now so I say feel stupid or not GO FOR IT GIRL!

That's your first problem ... don't think about it ... have a few drinks get nice and relaxed ... set the mood ... put some music on that you can really get into ... and let loose ... even if you don't do it perfectly ... he's not expecting you to be a super star stripper ... he'll be happy with the fact you're willing to show him something new ... a different side of you ... a side wanting to please him ... don't worry ... he'll enjoy every minute if you're enjoying it too ... also if it starts getting silly ... run with the flow ... act silly ... laugh ... sex is about having fun and really letting go ... do it girl .... it will be something he'll never forget ... !

You'll feel dumb no matter what! :) My 3 year is coming up on Saturday, when's yours? I was thinking the same thing! I don't do sexy things either and I'm pretty reserved since I feel like a dumb@ss most of the time! I'd just have fun with it, if he laughs, he laughs. Does he love you? Does he love your body? As long as he can answer yes to either of the questions, it won't matter. Even if he thinks it's funny, he'll still enjoy it. If he starts laughing, make it funnier, be silly. If he doesn't, then keep going. The key is to relax. You are taking yourself out of your comfort zone, and he should be excited that he'll be getting some from his wife. Relax and enjoy yourself.

My suggestion would be.....embrace the whole "mother of his child" thing. He seems like he says the right things and loves you, and if this is the case it probably multiplied when you gave birth to his child. If you embrace the fact that this is your husband who loves you, whom you just brought a child into the world with, you will be able to let go of the insecurities and show him the love. Look at him when you do it. I doubt he'll laugh. The look on his face will make you "feel sexy and not stupid while doing it"

Set the mood, pour him a drink (and maybe you too) remember what he tells you, a woman's erogenous zone starts in her mind. Picture him telling you how sexy you are........say it to your self over and over again, when my husband tells me that I am sexy that makes me feel sexy and that can give you the confidence that you need to pull this off. picture yourself dancing for him, moving and swaying your hips to the music, feel the sexiness that you will exude, go over what you will do in your mind before you do it . the more you are prepared mentally for it, the better it will work for you and him.
