Some Church organizations have programs for this sort of thing. many banks do offer financing programs for churches, but they'll want to know what kind of membership you have.
If you are "independent" I suggest you first prayerfully consider if pastoring is something God wants you to do. If not, you'll make shipwreck of a lot of souls regardless.

God's work is to be done by, and paid for by God's people. Not grants, not fundraisers in the community, not spaghetti dinners for unbelievers, etc.
Does the congregation you're pastoring in your living room tithe? A high percentage of them? That is where the money to build a building comes from. Tell your flock of the blessings received for turning over the lordship to the financial portion of their lives gives. That's where you need to place your effort.
Tell the greedy to go for the financial blessing of giving. Tell the fornicators and homosexuals of the sexual blessing of purity outside of marriage. Tell the gluttons of the healthy blessing of eating to live, not living to eat.
If you're just starting out with a small group, meet in homes - that's biblical anyhow, "church buildings" isn't "the church". As you grow, meet in another congregation's building during hours that they aren't there. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be renting in a strip mall, giving GOD'S money to some businessman that also owns or rents to pornography or alcohol stores.
Save money, keep good books, in a few years your group will have a good down payment and be credit worthy for a loan.

YOu would need to talk to a Mortgage Broker that does Commercial Financing, since this falls into that catigory. Interbay is a good company for small to large financing.
