Beatles. Interestly enough, after the Beatles would finish recording for a day, they'd often head to the Stones' studio and Jam. Check out Rolling Stone's top 500 albums and compare the two. The Beatles own it. They have 3 albums listed before the Stones have 1.

Yeah your right, The Beatles weren't part of the British Invasion at all!!! ...friggin idiots. I love the Beatles and hate the stones. It's all about innovation...I could truly go on for a page on why i feel they better, but in the end its change and musical maturity that really sells the deal to me. The Stones never changed, and they kept signing the same old crap, not creative and bland.

Stones. They were a part of the British invasion years ago, and by God they're still on tour now. They represented the counter-culture of the 60's and 70's, with love peace and drugs and picked up on some of the negative emotions with "Paint it Black"
All that's left of the Beatles is a sad old Paul, who's biggest news headlines involve his marriages, and back in the day they were really just a continuation of the 50's, with their suits, haircuts and style.
So the Stones for sure. (though Mick Jaggers mouth does creep me out a bit...)

Beatles, every album they made was brilliant, you cant' say that for the Stones.

Saying "who is better of the Beatles or Stones" is like asking whether feces or urine tastes better. Both groups sucked.
Give me The Who and The Hollies any day of the week.
