The Great Debate------ Star Trek or Star Wars?????
Why can't we have enough love in our hearts to accept them both? Why must this divide go on throughout sci-fidom??? You can love Kirk and Luke evenly. You can dream of 7 of 9 and Princess Leia in the slave outfit, it all ends the same why (yeah, you know what I mean). Why can't somone carry a lightsaber and a Bat'leh at the same time? Tie fighters and Romulan Birds of Prey can soar the heavens together.
For the love of Ewoks and Tribbles can't you people just get along!!!!
Live Long and Prosper as the Force is with You.

Star Trek. Several hundred TV episodes and 9 movies to choose from to watch, as opposed to just 6 Star Wars films.

Star Wars easily beats Star Trek. Why? Han Solo, the coolest sci-fi character EVER.

that all depends on which version of star trek u refer to, personally i like voyager, tng, original and then the new enterprise in that order, deep space nine was a turn off. the first 3 star wars were excellent. Return of the jedi being my fav. the last 3,(or shud that be first 3-prequels) were not as good. star trex involved a lot more interaction between characters, more believable storylines and obviously there was more of them. i think they will be remembered well after star wars has been long forgotten

Star Wars, because they were so much more creative with the aliens. They made models and computer generated ones, where as, even though i haven't watched loads, star trek seems to all just be people dressed in silly outfits! And of course Yoda rules! :D

Both have their high and low points, but i'll go with Starwars. The reason being that Starwars stuck with me when I grew up but Trek didn't.

Star Trek.
Production values.
The world view incorporated into the series is almost Utopian.
The characters are more interesting and believable.
The technology is better and much more inventive.
