I depends on the weigh and thickness of the paper.. If it is a document on regular notebook or printer paper.. You would be safe with 4... However if it is a thicker paper like a legal document, or a construction paper thickness, you would be safe with 2 possibly 3... If you are not sure though just use a second stamp.. or a weighted envelope.. It is better than getting the letter sent back to you!!! A weighted envelope is really the best bet for many pages. You can get it at the post office, and they will weigh it for you and tell you the total cost.. It is safer too. If you put very many pages in a regular envelope, and try and mail it regularly, pages can get lost... the machine they use is really thin, and the end of the envelope will rip open when it goes through causing the contents to fall out... A weighted envelope is mailed through a different set of tasks.. I hope all this info helps you!

Depends on the value of the one stamp. If it is a standard first class stamp you can usually get 4 - 5 sheets through on that one stamp.
