If I could change one thing in the past it would be my parents getting a divorce. Because of that happening, my life fell apart and so did my little brothers life. Sure we make our own choices, but when parent go through a bitter divorce, so do the kids. My mother ended up on drugs and I moved around from one family member to the next, always feeling unloved and so did my brother. We had the perfect family before this happened. It ultimately ended up affecting our adult lives, my brother becoming a follower and ending up in prison and me looking for love, ending up pregnant in high school and having a baby before my life even began.
although we all wish we could change our lives, we must know one thing for certain, God makes plans and what happens in our life is just God's plan to keep us on the path he wants us to travel.
