For example a km is 3 orders of magnitude higher than a meter

1 km = 1*10^3 m

10 kg is a mass of 10 kg or amount of matter.

In Astronomy, a magnitude is a level of brightness of a star. It is roughly the amount of additionaly brightness (or dimness) required for the human eye to recognize a difference. It's a way of classifying or grouping stars by brightness.

in electromagnetice it is a vector that has relationship with intensity of field.B=u(h) h is intensity and u is acoefficient.in my opinion it show the number of line of force per unit area.
