Rex Grossman was the worst rated QB in the league this year! Why does he deserve a SuperBowl ring before Manning.. It's crap! That's what it is! CRAP CRAP CRAP!

Grossman might be the worst rated QB but if you've watched football, the guy didn't do that bad during the playoffs. During the regular season, he started pretty well, he only struggled at the end, but even the best players have had their ups and down. Manning didn't have 17 perfect games, neither Tom Brady. So, give the guy some credit. His team's fans are the ones that suck. You don't booo your players when they are having a bad streak if you are true fan. Grossman was booed for almost 4 years when he was a Gator; at least he is being respected a little bit more now that the Bears are in the SB.

I don't understand why people are so bent out of shape about this possibility. Its a team game folks and not a battle between Rex and Peyton. Besides... I would look at it as if the Bears won its going to be because of defense and not special teams. Rex getting a ring would just be circumstance. Peyton has always had trouble winning the big game so what the world would be coming too is realizing there is not just good Rex/ Bad Rex... but history shows Good Big Game Peyton / Bad Big Game Peyton. The game will be interesting. Just please remember... in sports or much anything there is no DESERVE... you earn it. If Peyton wants it bad enough he will get his ring but he and Rex as well won't do it alone during this game. Peyton could be on his best playing level but if his supporting cast sucks he's going to loose. Anyway... good luck to Peyton but if he doesn't win well that outcome he is used to and the world will keep spinning.

Manning has realized his potential. He is probably the best QB in the game at this point. Tom Brady has always been a better big game player, but after the AFC Championship, Manning proved again that he is the best. Grossman, on the other hand, is still waiting to realize his. The way he plays in the Super Bowl will probably determine if he is still the starter in Chicago next year.

well were you here when Trend Difer won the superbowl? Sometimes a sorry QB can win a superbowl because no matter how great a QB is, this is still a team sports and if the Bears play really good defense and Grossman doesnt turn the ball over, they have a good chance of winning it. However, i think the Colts will win.

Maybe so, but football is a TEAM sport. As much as I'd love to see Peyton get his ring after so much struggle, if the Bears win, Grossman will get a ring just like Mark Rypien, Trent Dilfer and two or three other so-so QB's who happened to get one!

I think the Colts will win, but man oh man, is it cool that Lovie has these Bears, the Bears with a depleted defense (their main leader Mike Brown is out) and a pathetic offense in the Super Bowl.

Defense does win championships and I think the fact that Indanapolis' defense is much improved, is what will win the Super Bowl for them.

As far as quarterbacks go, did Jim McMahon really "deserve" it back when the Bears won it in '86?

What is the World coming to that the Colts made it to a Superbowl. Peyton Manning has numbers, but no talent. He is so overrated. If you take Marvin OR Wayne out, he's screwed. In my opinion, either deserve a Superbowl ring, or a chance at one, but in this matchup, I want the Bears to win

There are a lot of crap QB's that have won superbowls. Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Mark Rypien, Doug Williams, Jeff Hostetler, Ben Rothlesberger, just to name a few so if Grossman wins he wouldnt be the 1st crappy QB to win one.

Very unlikely Grossman will get a Superbowl ring. Peyton and the Colts will win Superbowl on February 4! Love that Tony Gungy will be getting a ring too, he is a fabulous Head Coach with amazing stats.

It doesn't matter what Grossman does, Urlacher will bail him out when needed. Nobody is claiming Grossman to be the best quarterback ever, are they? Not even his fans are saying that. Anyway, if (and when) the Bears win, and Manning can't handle that, then he is a SORE LOSER!

!!!!!!GO BEARS!!!!!!
