Bentley. Rolls has an image problem, more of an older persons car I think.
Bentley is seen as more sporting. The mesh grille looks well cool.

Well, they're both German now! But I think Volkswagen got the better deal when they bought Bentley. They've invested hugely and created some very desirable high-performance cars. Rolls Royce, on the other hand, now just manufacture bloated mockeries of their former superb cars.
I guess I'd opt for the Bentley then ... if I was earning ten times what I get now!

A Bentley is definitely more 'chap', inasmuch that it shows one has the necessary ackers to own a Rolls, but one does not desire the vulgar ostentation that ownership of a vehicle of this marque implies.

I have owned a Bentley Cont. GT and loved it. But prefer my Murcielago.

Bentley more classy but buy one pre VW ownership. Infinately more classy than the footballer buying crowd.

All depends on how you drive...or want to be driven... If you like feeling sea-sick...go for the RR, but if you like it sporty go for the Bentley.

i wouldn't be seen dead in either.
incidentally, the bentley continental is just a vw phaeton with a different body shell and twice the price. that's a clever little wheeze isn't it
