Either the present queen has to die, or she can hand power over to her son..Then Charles will be king. I would rather wait for William to be king though..He is a lot nicer to look at than his ugly dad..lol..

It is not like they actually run the country, let her be queen until she dies. It is not as if Prince Charles is all that young either. So to answer your question i say no because it doesn't really matter.

When and if the queen ever retires then prince chuck can take over. But he cannot be by passed by Wills. I think chuck is weird and Wills is too young.
