We can only *know* what can be objectively shown through logical analysis of empirical information.
All else is speculation.

Beautiful Q. what is truth?

Here's a hint; nothing is what it seems. This reality that we live in gives a false impression; therefore, a lie.

You see a mass(object/"gross reality"), but it's actually energy(negatron/a more refined reality). This is one of the reasons why we're always after the truth. This is how we learn; by comparing; truth/lie.

So, what you can not perceive with your outer senses (nobody has ever seen a negatron, but everyone knows they exist) you can still perceive with the inner sense and learn through studying science.

How do scientists know about the electron? They know because of what it does, provokes, and/or the traces it leaves in this reality.

So, what are the traces of another reality you can find in this one?

The fact that we're looking for the truth tells us we live in a lie, that we're seeking enlightenment tells us that we live in the dark, that we want to be filled is because we're empty, that we hate is because we're looking for love...............

The mind of man is knowledge and knowledge is limited.
How can a limited mind see the truth?
The only truth that the limited mind can see and knows is the partial truth within its periphery.
To claim the limited truth as unbounded truth is a lie.
To understand the limitation that knowledge cannot see the unbounded truth is truth .

“What you perceive, your observations, feelings, interpretations, are all your truth. Your truth is important. Yet it is not The Truth.”

If you seek truth you will not seek victory by dishonorable means, and if you find truth you will become invincible. ~ Epictetus

“The person, who treads on the path of truth, refrains from deception, treachery, pretension, and remains untouched by falsehoods-is never devoid of eternal joy.”

“Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.” ~ Spencer Johnson

“Give up what appears to be doubtful for what is certain. Truth brings peace of mind, and deception doubt.”

“Truth, when not sought after, rarely comes to light” ~ Oliver Wendell Holmes

There are many truths. Just because things change does not make them untrue. It is true that everything, in the physical universe, is in a continual state of change.

I think we all perceive truths frequently; the problem is accepting and conveying them without incorporating subjective biases.

“…from the mouths of babes… can be interpreted to express this concept as the very young are not yet nearly as biased as their elders, so they accept and express truths much more accurately.

Truth is volatile as a desert mirage. Ask Gallileo. Now we know, from a certain point of view, the Inquisition could be right about being the Earth the center of the Universe. It's just a matter of relativity, after all.

The truth is what you make it. You can either believe what others say or create your own reality. I personally believe there is no truth and that we only choose to think there is because without it there would be no purpose to life.
