In a sense, yes they do. However, i wouldn't be happy if we didn't have computers. They help us do tons of things, that otherwise would've been impossible. Plus, computers can acutally bring people together. Think of all the millions of IMs, chat rooms, online games, etc. that millions-billions of people get on everyday. I have discovered a lot of things about socitey from other people through the computer. I've met tons of friends, some of which i have never met in person but still love them as much as if i had.

Although computers do have some big disadvantages they still have major gains. They are just like everything else - they have there beneifits and their fallouts. It is a matter of choice - slighty dehumanize the society but get help, entertainment, and fun OR not dehumanize society at all but get no form of online entertainment or other advantages listed above?

I knew sitting in front of a computer was doing something to me, but I couldn't quite think of the correct term.
But you've just nailed it for: it dehumanizes me, that's what it does.
I'm no longer a fcuking human being, I'm just some bozo on the other end of a mouse.

americans are already getting really isolated. i'm from the south and i find it strange that in california, people seem uncomfortable talking to strangers. every time i actually talk to someone, they aren't from california.

we have to work at humanizing society, because it always tends toward nature, red in tooth and claw.

Humans dehunmanize society. I prefer computers, they are logical and do as they are told.
