It is natural. As for your list I think Bakersfield is #1 and Houston, TX is #2 unless this is newer than my info. I live in Bakersfield and I can at least see what I am breathing can you say that? Cow flatulence is the #1 destructive force on the ozone (it is true and the methane gas is what does it). BTW Ca is loaded with dairy farms and agriculture which contributes a lot to the pollution here.
I am all for lowering all pollutants but the scare tactics are silly. This is not the first cycle of global warming and during the last scientific studies suggest that there was a boom in new life forms/ species.

Actually, it's not any one thing...
Global warming is both a natural and an unnatural phenomenon. We expect some global warming trends naturally. The problem is that our industrial, automotive, and other processes (i.e. certain hair product usage, etc) put chemicals into the atmosphere (and the ocean, by extension) that wouldn't otherwise be present in the levels they are now present in.
Some of those chemicals have the effect of collecting and holding heat in, rather than letting it naturally escape into space. Over time, the situation gets worse and the entire environment becomes more unpredictable.
It's not any one place causing it... it's every car and every factory that's contributing to the problem... hence the need to cut back emissions in general.
Edit: And, by the way, when environmental scientists talk about Global Warming, they're not talking about natural global warming. People say "Global warming may be caused by natural events!" as if that's some sort of revelation... it's not. Environmental scientists have always been aware of natural warming trends and their cycles. (Hint: you wouldn't be able to get out of an ice age without a warming trend... you also experience regional warming trends during season changes).
What environmental scientists are focusing on is the manmade aspects of global warming which make the issues regarding global warming more pressing and severe.
Part of the reason we're not worse off right now is because many of the chemicals are being absorbed by the ocean and making it more acidic (through adding carbon) in the process. Which is bad for the food chain.

Sorry to inform you but if you knew California at all you'd know that there are no hippies here at all especially in Los Angles, Bakersfield, Fresno, Visalia, Porterville and Merced.
But Los Angeles produces the most pollution because of all the cars and the Ports which are the most polluting places per foot on the planet.
Again, if you knew anything about California, you'd know that we have tried to pass legislation that cut emissions from cars and from the ports. The Auto industry lobbied our commisions and courts to have the legislature overturned. This was in the 1990's and if you would watch "Who killed the Electric Car" on DVD you would know the answer to your own question. You should really research your questions before posting them. You would learn alot about politics, lobbying, corruption and the Auto/Oil cartels. You'd also learn that Californians are buying up hybrid cars and buying vegie diesle cars so much that dealerships can't keep them on the lots for 5 minutes.

Global warming has happened before in history. This time it is really mostly due to our life styles. There are so many people in the world; all wanting to cook food, keep warm, drive every where they go, often within walking distance & our throw-away mentality. People think of themsleves as a single entity; so what they do has no affect on others. Our thinking must change to nations & what the result as nations has on nature. Nature has been on our side for a long time but she is reaching the point of no return. Science tells us that we have approximately 30 years before we reach that point. Shall we just ignore & continue our distructive ways? We do so at the cost to the coming generations.

Actually the most polluting areas are in Africa, now, if you look at a satellite image for carbon deposits in the atmosphere, it's above africa, mainly because many companies take their business there where they don't have to comply with polluting regulations and laws.
But still, global warming is bull schmitt.

right here's the straightforward answer to claims of guy-made global warming. in case you advised me that you already know climate structures all over the area, i might want to ask you to predict the elements all over the area. in case you in truth understood it, you would possibly want to assume what is going to happen tomorrow, next month, next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, next decade interior of a few widely used degree of accuracy. Now i might want to be advantageous with you declaring that you do not recognize what the precise levels of particular variables (which contain CO2 levels) will be and giving your answer in words of equations. each and all of us who tells you they could assume the elements a lengthy time period from now can post or close up. at the same time as they could assume interior of 0.2 ranges C. what the elements will be all over the area a month in strengthen, we are able to start up to take them heavily. Albert Einstein wrote that mankind seriously is unable to appreciate climate structures properly sufficient to correctly assume it. The gadget is too complicated. deliver me an digital mail in case you want a precise quote and reference for this on your debate. the load of evidence is on the human beings who declare there is this variety of component as man made global warming. they could want to correctly assume the elements in numerous places contained in the international to finish this evidence. they could't attempt this because they are practising junk technology and activism. i am going to make a computer type provide you with ninety second minutes. that would not recommend that a minute is honestly ninety seconds in length. Any temperature documents from earlier to invention of the steam engine that shows adjustments in temperature might want to be evidence that nature can and does change global temperatures. you may't coach precisely what area of nature is causing it any more advantageous than activists can coach that guy is causing it.

We all are causing it, but only a small number of people realize this.
The average surface temperature of the Earth is not only the warmest it has ever been since recordings of it started, but it has increased faster in a shorter period of time than ever before in the Earth's history.
This is no peak of the naturally occurring climactic cycle of the Earth, this surface temperature spike is almost exclusively man-made.

The top 10 most poluted cities in the world came out recently too, and not ONE of them was in the US. In fact, 6 of them were from the former Soviet areas. So why do the blame America first crowd always...blame America first? Do the eco tree huggers really love America?

Global warming may be a natural occurrence and human beings are not the cause (or not the degree to which we think).
I read an article that said that increased sun activity might play a part. How valid this theory is, I don't know.

Stop taking shots at California and face reality: WE AMERICANS DON'T FRICKIN CARE ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!!! As long as gas is affordable (which its NOT) we don't care about stronger hurricanes and higher ocean tides!! If they are a hazard to wear we live, those of us who are SMART will MOVE AWAY from that area! This "global warming is going to destroy humanity" hysteria is just a huge attempt to wipe out fast-food, SUV's, and flush toilets! GUESS WHAT? IT AIN'T WORKING!!! How STUPID and anti-American can you environmentalists be? There's plenty of trees and penguins to go around!
Speaking of Penguins, anybody got Sidney Crosby for M.V.P of the league?
