Just FYI, I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant when my test came up positive and I had been testing every 3 days for a couple weeks because I was pretty sure something was up. It was surprising that it took that long to show, so if you take a test and it says negative and you're two weeks late, you could still be pregnant. Good luck! :)

Some of the better test kits can give a positive result two or three days before your period is due - this would mean you're officially 4 weeks pregnant, even though conception took place approximately 2 weeks ago.

The pregnancy tests you can buy over the counter say on the package when you will generally get an accurate test result. Keep in mind though that you can have a false negative...meaning you can be pregnant and the urine test says you are not. The best way to tell is to go to your doctor and get a blood test done.

Not two weeks, that would be the time of conception. Some tests can tell 4-5 days before you miss your period, but the chances of a false negative go up with each day you test before you miss your period.
