Yeah, I watched Leon the expert. Jean Reno performs a fulfillment guy, and lands up looking after somewhat woman (Natalie Portman)whilst her family contributors is killed over drugs. the youngster "apprentices" with Leon (reno) so she would be in a position to get revenge on the those that killed her brother. It became ok, no longer something particular. i does no longer purchase it, yet once you have been difficult up for some thing to computer screen, you will be able to desire to lease it. i could supply it a C. the story became rather susceptible, even though it became attractive. nevertheless, i'm going to on no account waste 2 hours on that movie returned.

I agree that Nikita was a good movie, but Jean Reno's role in that movie was relatively small, and he plays sort of the same character as he did in Leon.
I actually enjoyed Reno's performance in The Big Blue (I think the first answerer meant to refer to this movie) more. His character was hysterically funny, but there was a hidden level of depth to him as well. That would be my recommendation.

As far as similar roles, i'd say LEON is the best. As for similar movies, try more films done by Luc Besson

Nikita, of course - haven't you watched it? Rivières pourpres is really one of the best, Ronin is also very awesome. Nevertheless, Leon is the most sentimental.
