AVON line softening mousse foundation is a great, light coverage make-up that comes in a variety of shades. If you want something a tad heavier, their Raidant Lifting Foundation with SPF 12 is great, too.
Follow up with a compact powder to set the foundation for a finished, yet natural, look.
Try not to get frustrated with the make-up if you've never worn it. It will take experimentation with different foundations to get the right look for you. Just make sure you have cleansed and moisturized your face VERY WELL before applying any make-up. A good rule-of thumb is to wait 20 minutes after you cleanse and moisturize before applying your make-up to get the maximum effect of the make-up.
Good luck and you'll do just fine!!!!

I would recommend starting with a good Skin Care Program. You want to take care of the skin first then work on the finishing touches. I usually start someone in your category with a tinted moisturizer that has a sunscreen then use a cream to powder eyeshadow all over the eye lid for just a little bit of color (using a vanilla color) a bronze or sable eyeliner and brown/black mascara. For blush I would use a bronzer and a lip gloss with just a touch of color and moisture for the lips. You could check out the www.marykay.com web site and locate a consultant in your area who could help you with a look. You can also do Virtual Makeovers on their web site, and print off the looks you like so you can try them. They also show application tips. You don't want to go overboard when first starting, or you will hate it and not keep it up. Just keep you look simple and when you have something special, ask your consultant how to give you a little more advance coloring! Good Luck.

Wow it sounds like you have some very striking features. You'd probably want to bring out your eyes and blue goes with about anything. For going out I would say try a smokey look on your eyes, dark and light shades of gray. For your face just put a bit of foundation, you can find at any department or drug store pretty cheap and I''m sure they'd help you find your skin tone. Add some mascara and lip gloss and your good to go.
(For an everyday look just put on mascara, a little blush and some gloss)

While it's not cheap, Clinique is inexpensive and affordable. Clinique usually has very natural looking makeup application, with very translucent foundations and tinted moisturizers that would be great for someone used to seeing themselves sans make up. I would suggest visiting your nearest Clinique counter for an application lesson. If you are going on a weekend, you should probably call ahead and schedule it first. If you can go during the day in the middle of the week, calling ahead shouldn't be necessary.
And from this girly-girl to a tom-boy, remember: Make Up is our friend! While I think all women have natural beauty, it's fun to try different make up styles, shades and looks. Have a blast!

For a natural look, you can use a tinted moisturizer or foudation spray such as Sally Hansen foundation spray. Also some mascara, Maybelline has some great mascaras, like lash discovery, and avon has a lot of great lip glosses wich are inexpensive. If you need more help, you should try going to a department store like Macys and got to the Benefit counter. They are more expensive but they have great make-up and the counter girls can help you choose the best colors for you. Another great one is the M.A.C. These are my favorites.
HAVE FUN!!!

To enhance what you have, and you are young so take advantage of the moment...use a face powder in your skin shade. If you are looking for going darker, I would suggest you use a mousse makeup that is just a slight shade darker. Your shades will change with the amount of time you spend in the sun during the summer. Absolutely use the lightest (not in shade, but weight) makeup you can so you don't ruin your skin. Pancake makeup works well, but clogs your pores. Apply a small bit of blush and blend with your face makeup. Lip liner and lipstick, and a touch of mascara should complete your look.

Try a tinted moisturizer. Gives you very light, natural coverage. Apply with a make up sponge instead of your fingers. Then try a bronzer ( I love the Body Shop Bronzer Beads) with a big face brush. Some mascara and a lip gloss should be the only other things you need. You will have a finished look but not "made up"
Good Luck!!

Try "benetint" by benefit, which you can buy at a department store. It's a nice tinted light foundation that will give you some nice color.
You might also try going to Walgreens or Rite Aid and look at Neutrogena's makeup and skin line. They have sheer foundations, which I think are good for people new to makeup. Less is more.
Also, consider a soft rosy blush for your cheeks and chin, and have your eyebrows done by a professional for the first time (if you haven't done it already). After the professional does it, you can maintain the shape yourself with a Tweezerman tweezer. Have shapely eyebrows lessens one's need for lots of makeup.
Good luck! I wish I could help you myself. This should be a fun time for you. Remember not to overdo it. Cheers.

First start at the department store makeup counters so u can look at the colors and try them on. Then go to Walgreens or your local drug store and find a similar to the one u saw at the department store makeup counters. I would start with an lipgloss and mascara and just a natural eyeshadow.

Start out with just a little here and there...like just mascara and lip gloss. Then start adding a little color. Buy some fashion/girlie magazines and look at people with your skin tone and eye color. A really good place to start is AVON, JAFRA, etc...companies that deal with various types makeup and women.
