No. Public opinion polls if properly performed can assess the gerenal thoughts of a large body of people without having to ask each person. Read up on the statistics of making sure your sample of the population is a true refelction of the whole group. Very interesting.

Anyone who is into Sociology would tell you no because they're used to create statistics.
I, on the other hand, say yes because I believe they are useless pieces of info used to manipulate society into having one common opinion.
