As the question above states, do Priests who spec's in the Holy, and Discipline tree have more trouble when leveling through the PvE portion of the game, such as quests etc?

yeah it will be. You should respec to Shadow priest. You'll still give good heals. But unless you plan on doing nothing but dungeons throughout the entire lvling process. Then you should stick to shadow. But like I said holy is the way to do dungeons only. Just so that you can give a bigger punch for PVE you should do Shadow.

It depends on play style, really. If you are trying to solo, I think you almost have to go Shadow. If you plan on predominantly grouping, then you have some options. A priest makes the best healer, however that does not mean a priest MUST be a healer. If you are going to try and play as a healer, do not waste your time with Shadow spells. Don't try to contribute to the fight by damaging the creature. You'll only incur more hate from the critter and make it harder for the tank to keep agro. We have a priest in our group who is speced shadow...and we can't count on him for healing. I'd much rather have a holy/disc priest in my group than a shadow priest, unless we have someone else playing as main healer.

You should put your talents into shadow as a priest for leveling, then respec holy at lvl 60/70(depending on if you have the expansion) so that you can join end game guild, cuz they hate shadow priests because they cant heal.

Everyone says it's harder to solo a priest as Holy or Disc, but I i had no problems soloing with my priestess, either as Holy or her current Disc/ holy build. But yeah if you want to mess things up go shadow, if you want to be good healer in a group go holy or disc or a mix of the two.

on account that we are telling Jokes, right this is one that continually gets me guffawing. What does a guy or woman who's an insomniac, agnostic and a dyslexic do at night? stay wide awake thinking if there's a dogs.
