The Baltic countries are Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Russia is not one of them. Estonia is the richest one of the Baltic countries.

Accordingly to 2013 CIA data Lithuania's GDP is $22,600 while Estonia's $22,400. Latvia's GDP is $19,100. Russia's GDP is $18,100 and Poland's $21,100, so Lithuania is the "richest" in the region right now. Estonians were laughing at Lithuanians for a long time because Lithuanians always lagged behind Estonia by about 10-15% and as much as 20%, but not anymore. Always the one laughs who's the last. It also proves that harsh criticism and ridicule does not hurt, but helps in a long run.
