i was wonder is there legal limitations that it is over with and i am not written up ? any help thanks

the limitations are determined by your employer. normally you have to sign the write up papers before they are put in your file.

Write-ups are usually an internal punishment, because they have no real legal penalty. Most employers have a rule about having to actually write you up within a 24 hour period of the incident, and they must give it to you by your next shift (if more than 24 hours away)

It means he probably forgot about it. Don't bring it up. I had a vice president of my company tell me in a "you're fired" tone that "we need to talk".

He never said when though. That was three years ago.
