Yes. Take That were one of the UK's most successful boybands, being active between 1991 and 1996. Robbie Williams left the band in the summer of 1995, and the rest of the members, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald announced the band's demise in March 1996. Barlow and Owen, as the band's chief songwriter and hearthrob respectively, were expected to become the solo break out stars. Barlow achieved two solo number one hits in the UK, another top ten hit, two top twenty hits and a top thirty hit. Owen has achieved three top five hits and two top thirty hits. Williams went on a rollercoaster ride of drugs and alcohol after his departure from the band and wasn't expected to amount to much. His first hits didn't set the chart alight (two top three hits, one top ten hit and one top twenty hit), but the release of "Angels" in December 1997 made his critics sit up, and it wasn't long before Williams was clearly becoming the most successful member of Take That. I have no idea what Orange and Donald were doing for most of the last ten years. But Take That, minus Williams, reunited for a tour this year and are supposedly working on a new album to be released. Williams continues to be a successful solo artist.
