Having stopped several violent attacks on women in my life I want to know why firearms are still considered evil?

They are not evil. If firearms are criminalized, the only ones left with guns will be the criminals. The woman who saves her life against the scum in this world by using a gun is a hero, not a villain

I believe the woman protecting herself is morally supported. Firearms are still considered evil because people don't want to blame the person holding the weapon for their actions. Gangs are a perfect example of why.
