Normal periods range from 3-5 days!

This all depends how what was normal for you before this. There are quite a few variables. If you came off of Birth Control pills you could have unusual cycles.

Your age can also affect this.

The cycle sheds the lining of the uterus and your lining may not be that thick causing a shorter flow.

when was your last GYN appt? I believe you should seek the advice of your GYN, I had a weird cycle in October, then normal in November and found out pregnant in December to have a loss in January due to having a Bacertial infection...these will cause irregular cycles..if you have always been normal then it is time for a papsmear!!! Seriously, best to know!

I would make an appointment to see your gynecologist. There are many different things that could be going on. If your trying for a baby it's time to get use to visiting the gyno.

Everyone's cycle is different. My friend's was only 4 days, but 3 days sounds a little too short. Check with a doctor.

Somtimes when you are overly active (excercising) or under a lot of stress it will reduce the length of your period. Stop conciously trying to have a baby. It might make you relax enough to be receptive to conceiving.

there are a lot of factors that could be going on here. are you stressed? are you exercising? are you getting enough vitamins and water? if you are stressed or lacking on any of these other things, it affects your period. also, if you are trying TOO hard to concieve, it makes it difficult. just have fun trying, and make sure you keep yourself healthy in the process.

Practice, practice, practice! Try an ovulation prediction product. You can buy them at Wal-mart, or any drug store. It can give you more of an idea of when you are ovulating. Good luck!
