To answer your question, YES, the world would have been much different had God not rested on the final day of creation. Not that he was fatigued and forced to rest, No. He did so to provide to man an object lesson. It is a lesson which we had learned and practiced until recent history in our country. Things were much more "laid back" and made a lot more sense a few years ago when we just closed up shop and took time out for rest and recuperation one day a week. If that is not valid, why do we long for "the good old days" when everything was so much more quiet and simple? Are we truly happier today with our multi-tasking never-rest lifestyles? Man absolutely requires regular downtime or all of life becomes a blur with little actual meaning. Hello...?

God, in his/her own way, is always successful. The two point conversion, however, would not win the game. A careful study of the condition of God's creation indicates that God's team is several touchdowns behind, and the game is in the closing minutes. Simply not enough time left to convert.

I ran my own business once.

I wasn't God but i was soul proprietor.

I found that i could get as much or more work done is six days resting on the seventh than i could being burned out working sevens.

You do better, when you take a break once in a while, than going nonstop.

I'm sure that we would be more high-strung, and that football would be the offical world's sport, instead of soccer (or "futbol" as the foreigners call it).

It would have been successful because he is God and because if he failed, then THAT would have been called "success" because he got to name it.
