im haveing trouble downloading music on limewire and other free downingloading sites

First, define what the problem is!
Assuming you are having problem trying to connect to the network:
Do you use a router?
Try going here and select your router, the program, etc., and follow the STEP-BY-STEP instructions offered.

Else, are you using a firewall?
Windows should automatically allow limewire to access the internet although if you're using a third-party firewall things get a little more specialized.

Sounds like there might be a problem with firewall or port settings. Do you know if you are using a firewall?
