Many years ago I was guilty of judging people by the job they held and now so many years on I am glad to say that I have ceased to do this and judge them on their own individuality and contribution to me as a person.

Personally I don't, but I have noticed that there are individuals on this forum who give advice on topics they know little about, stating that they are "doctors" whilst being unable to write or spell correctly. When one takes the trouble to investigate their previous questions and answers, one discovers they are immature teenagers who also seek advice about puerile activities, or liars who profess to have done things which they have not done, been to places they have not visited, had a number of children that varies from question to question, and copied or adapted the answer of another person above them adding the magical word "I am a DOCTOR, believe me".
On the strength of this statement, their answer is chosen as best, even when it is completely wrong, by credulous askers who take them at face value. One should not judge a book by its cover.

Obviously one will respect the opinion of a true professional, with proven credentials, but it does not mean he or she is trustworthy on every aspect of life or for that matter that they are pleasant, kind or interesting. One would expect wisdom and fairness from a judge, medical expertise from a doctor, knowledge from a professor and so forth, but their actions in other areas can be totally reprehensible. Errare humanum est, and even people in high powered or prestigious jobs can be absolute idiots in their public or private life. There also is the " being in the right place at the right time" factor leading to undeserving people being promoted to a high office. On the other hand there are some very nice people who have distasteful jobs that are essential to the smooth running of society.
I have come across people in simple jobs who were a mine of wisdom and knowledge learnt through experience or knocks acquired at the university of life. In the end it comes down to the personality of individuals and not the job they do, however modest it may seem, though this may be a factor in many peoples' estimation.

the international typically takes verses like that out of context and makes use of it to accuse Christians of being "judgmental" even as they talk of sin. interior the context of the verse Jesus is telling His disciples no longer to guage one yet another, something the Bible condemns (Romans 14:10; James 4:11). In Luke 6:40-one,40 2 He speaks of seeing a speck in a brother’s eye. In John 7:24 He reported, "choose no longer in accordance to the creation, yet choose righteous judgment." If someone steals, lies, commits adultery or homicide, etc., the Christian can make a (righteous) moral judgment and say that the moves were morally incorrect, and that those sins could have eternal outcomes. Chuck Colson reported, "actual tolerance isn't a finished lack of judgment. It’s understanding what might want to be tolerated—and refusing to tolerate that which shouldn’t."

No way, some of the most interesting people I've met have been janitors and dock workers. I'm more likely to judge someone as soon as they open their mouth though.

No because I know plenty of graduates who work as bar staff, waiters etc as there aren't enough highly paid, high status jobs to go round.
