I think she'll be a hell of a lot better than Bush. What has Bush done for this country? He turned the rest of the world against America. We're like the laughing stock of the world because of him. Honestly he should be impeached.

I do not believe that she will be selected by the DNC and if so, I don't believe that she will be elected but would she be an good president? Of course. She's seasoned, well educated and compare her schooling scores to our current President -- he was a C student.
You would have to be more specific about what President Bush is "doing." I'm not at all a fan of making decisions based on faith rather than science and I'm a believer. I've been constantly shocked by the way his Administration handles things dealing with science and also I'm displeased with the idea of having "self-regulation." That never works, think of how children behave when the teacher leaves the classroom. Now apply that for over 7 years rather than 7 minutes.

I absolutely believe that Hillary CLinton will be good president. She is a force to be reckoned with. I believe that she will improve the health care and school systems immeasurably. I believe that her husband was a good president and with them as a team again, I think that this country would greatly improve. Besides, it is time for a woman to take over the government and the war against terror.
I do not agree with Bush's tactics. Yes, I believe that after 9/11 we should have attacked the people who attacked us, but that is it. It is not our responsibilty to change other nations views, if they do not believe in democaracy then it is not right for us to force it upon them. "The War on Terror" is going to be an everlasting war. Wherever there are people with different views there will be people that will use violence to get there point across and bully others into supporting their views. That is not the American way, but aren't we using the exact same tactics that terrorists use? Pushing peolpe into believing what we believe to be true, forcing others to fight to protect their views and using force to do it. Does this sound familiar? Bush should have backed out after Hussein was executed. The point was well taken by the people that we will not accept others coming on our land and commiting violent acts. But, because Bush has kept our men over seas longer than neccessary, it is immpossible to back out. It will look as if the US was beaten and will leave us open for other attacks. Instead of sending more soldiers over seas perhaps we should leave them on our land to protect it. Use them to secure ALL borders to keep them out. Strengthen our forces and defend our country, not destroy theirs. They do that well enough on their own.

Yes, Hiliary will make a great President, no doubts. No i don't agree with Bush's Iraq policy and never have. He lied about the need for a war there, and what's more Osama Bin Laden still hasn't been found.

I don't think Ms. Clinton would be a good president. She has changed her views too many times over the course of her political career - you wouln't know where she stood on certain policies. I am sure she has some wonderful qualities but the ability to lead our soldiers in this War on Terror is not one of them.
I respect President Bush. I do not always agree with all his domestic policies. I truly believe that he wakes up everyday with the safety of all of us on his mind. He loves this country and wants all of us to be able to continue to enjoy its freedoms.

I hate everything Bush is doing, everything he believes in and every word that comes out his mouth. However, I DO agree with Congressman Dennis Kucinich, responding to President Bush's State of the Union speech Thursday, when he told CNN's Larry King that the "the whole situation in Iraq is a colossal failure. America has to take a new direction. And that direction is out."
Ever since Bush/Cheney got in office by stealing the votes, our whole domestic agenda is being sacrificed to pay for their war. The United States has to declare to the world community that we're going to end the occupation of Iraq, and we're going to close our bases, and bring our troops home.
Unlike anything Bush has "decided", we might need peacekeepers and security forces to provide security for Iraqi people and maybe a program of reconciliation and -- and reconstruction and reparations so that Iraq can control their oil again.
It's our occupation that's fueling the insurgency. The world is waiting for the USA to take a new direction, embrace the world community, talk to people, and negotiate with Korea, Iran and Syria.
We need regional solutions so the region doesn't become more unstable than it is thanks to Bush's war.
Bush is setting the stage for an attack on Iran. We have to take a new direction in Iraq and we have to reconcile with the world community to stop the cycle of war.

American interests kept getting attacked under Bill and he would do little about it as it kept growing in size and results. We need someone to take the fight to them or they have shown they sure will take the fight to us. Islamic terrorism is all around the world as they push there sharia law everywhere they go so to ignore or not believe the very real threat is foolish and dangerous. I believe Hilliary would also be to weak to protect us. Even though I disagree with Bush on a lot of things he has this one right. We are at war and we need to win it.

President Bush is doing an outstanding job and history will reveal him to be one of the greatest Presidents we have ever had.
You know, it is easy to forget the 'promises' that Bill and Hillary made while in office. It strikes home when it is listed like this:
After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
BUSH COVERED IT!
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
BUSH COVERED IT!
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
BUSH COVERED IT!
After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible! would be hunted down and punished.
BUSH COVERED IT!
After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
BUSH COVERED IT!
Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, D.C. that are now dead would be alive today.
BUSH TOLD THOSE FIREMAN -- THEY WOULD HEAR US TOO!
And, now that Bush is taking action to bring these people to justice, we have Democrats charging him with being a war monger.
AN INTERESTING QUESTION: This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting stones, it is a legitimate question there are two men, both extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why was it that the Clinton administration spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the past eight years than Osama bin Laden?
THINK ABOUT IT!
It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. This from two people who have spent the past 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath!
Sincerely, Cmdr Hamilton McWhorter USN(ret)
