I'm thinking of changing my internal floppy drive for a zip 250 drive as i havn't used the floppy drive for years now and i'm fed up with my external one cluttering up the desk. I know the Bios detects the floppy drive on start-up and you can still boot up from a floppy disk so, how will this be effected and will i need to change anything in the Bios before i install the new drive? And will this setup wor with Windows XP?

I've already got a CD and a DVD burner but you can't just add a few files at a time and amend things on the disc, without leaving it in there and then you've lost the use of that drive. I really need it for updating photos every few days, or backing up documents. I only need a few hundred MB so the 250MB Zip is ideal.
As for USB even the new faster USB devices are just too slow, internal drives conected drictly to the mainboard are just so must faster and don't put as much strain on the PC's resourses. Hence why i'm changing from an external USB to internal ATI.
