If you sleep and your hand is supporting your neck your wrist bend backwards and then it hurts in the morning. Alternatively you may have bumped your wrist against a door handle or something and that can also hurt for a couple of days. I wish you well, i know it is sore. :))

if it doesnt go away, get it checked out. it could be any number of things, repetitive strain injury (maybe if you type or text a lot...) or tendonitis (maybe if you play sport...) or lots of other things.
none of these are serious though and they can all be cured!!!
but chances are its just a bruise or a sprain or something. try and rest it as much as possible over the next few days and you should be as right as rain!!

As long as the wrist is not swollen you should be okay. You might of just slept on it wrong.
