Barack Obama has as much to offer this country as any other Democratic (or Republican) nominee and if HIllary Clinton was out of the running, he would be the front runner instead. But Dems love Hillary so she'll get the nomination. No point in worrying about whether or not Obama can lead the country in the right direction - but, after reading "The Audacity of Hope," I strongly believe he could. And he will continue great service to America as a U.S. Senator.

I do not in any way mean to be racist, but I personally believe that America is not ready for an African-American president. If he would be elected, I do think he could lead America in the right direction.

His "electibility" is very high. Comparable to JFK. Assuming there are no major skeletons in his closet, his main fault is lack of major political experience compared to other candidates.
