there is no reason sometimes, no matter how good a spouse is if they want to cheat on you they will find a reason. first thought when it happens is to be hurt and be in shock, and deny it is happening. but later on we will see that this was best that it happened, because eventually it would have happened anyway, because this is who they are, and a part of their character. we have to know that everything happens for a reason although we never will know the reason, but than maybe the reason wouldn't make any sense anyway because the reason lies with that other person.

The marriage was over, but then it wasn't as bad as I thought. I thought the worst at 1st. She made a big mistake but everyone has some issues. The bottom line is I love her and still trust her.

My first thought was WHY. I then tried to figure out what went wrong, what was the trouble,can we fix it,can I fix it can I fix me.many things went through my head but the main thing that I was concerned with was trying to save it. I felt our marriage was worth saving in spite of what happened.Sixteen years was to much to throw away because of something like this but she didn't think the same as I did.

i am a wife who just found HE was the cheater.first thought.....KILL them both....but i analyzed the whole situation..and we are working it out. he is going thru midlife crisis(not an excuse) but understanding THAT helped me understand WHY he did it. the first thing you have to ask yourself is "DO I STILL LOVE HER?" if yes.....then no matter what anyone says ,you will do what is in your heart.
2nd question you ask is "CAN I FORIVE OR EVER TRUST HER AGAIN?" you will NEVER forget it..but how you deal with it, is what will make or break it for you......good luck. it hurts no matter what!

At the first affair, I was disappointed. We stayed together after she convinced me it was physical only. She has had a few since, and I must admit it has livened up our marriage...

first thought why what has i done wrong. then see if i could forgive her and if i still could love her after this. then how can we fix this and to move on or try to make the relationship work again.
