a male friend of mine only calls me 1 or 2 times a week but yet whenever we speak hes always asking about us hanging out together.i dont feel he deserves to be around me when he cant even make a better effort to call me during the week.but i guess he feels he deserves to spend time with me.anyone think hes got a prob or what?

i don't think he has a problem. it seems like he wants to hang out with you. maybe he can't call because he is busy or he wants to hang because he rather talk in person...idkno?

i don't think he has a prob. but you can't think that you are the only person in his life. If he is just a friend, you need to cut him slack for other things in his life, sports, family, girlfriend.... it sounds like you might want more than friends, if him not calling you all the time is upsetting you. If that is the case you should allow him other time for other things, and when he wants to hang out then jump for it. If you never do anything together you will start to lose your friendship and any chance you might have for more, if that is what you are looking for. 1 to 2 times a week is alot for some guys. You really should try to get away from feeling like he is not good enough to spend time with because of the calling gaps. Deserve? that is a strong word. It sounds controlling, if anything you sound very ungreatful of the time he does make for you. Sorry, that i don't agree with you, but i am just trying to show you what your question says to me.

no. calling people is different from hanging out with them. just because he doesnt call all that much doesnt mean he doesnt deserve u as a friend. i wouldnt worry too much about it. i think he sounds like a good friend but could be too busy during the week to call u so whenever he sees u he wants to get together some time. i wouldnt worry.

I didnt realize you were royalty and people had to earn the right to hang out with you. Maybe this guy was simply trying to give you space this way you didnt get scared with him "moving" to fast. If you feel you need to have a man at your beck and call then this guy is not the one for you

Well maybe he isnt calling you as much because you two hadnt hung out yet. i bet if you two started to hang out then he would call you just about daily
