No, but mainly because colubrids such as garters (not gardeners you nimrod) have an anticoagulant in their saliva that causes profuse bleeding from an otherwise insignificant scratch. It doesn't really hurt but it's messy and annoying wiping blood over and over till the saliva washes away.

But I guess it's not bad compared to being bitten by my green tree pythons, which don't need an anticoagulant to draw blood -- they have quarter inch recurved teeth on top and bottom that leave bleeding lacerations and bruises if they really happen to get a good grip on you. If I had to pick between being bitten by one of the two I'd have to pick the garter.

They're called Garter snakes, not Gardener snakes.

it extremely is a garter snake expensive, no longer gardener. there is not any longer lots you're able to do for the toad different than launch it someplace remote from the snake. hey, the snake needs to consume and stay too.

i dont like being bit by anything, but a garter bite wont hurt i would rather take a bite from a garter then my 13 foot 90 pound burmese python or one of my hots

Yes. I try to get bit atleast once a week, twice a week if I can call in sick at work.
