Can someone answer me this..

Why is it that that it seems Ok for people to be proliforating sexual images that to all rights should be banned (some are). For your fundamentalists, extremists and general whackos to be diseminating their racist / hateful creed to the world. Why it's Ok for babies to be brought and sold on ebay.. But the moment I mention George Bushes war on terror someone comes and gives me a violation notice? Who decides that what I hae to say isn't as valid as the next persons viewpoint? Isn't yahoo an American company? doesn't the 1st amendment garantee freedom of speech? or does that not apply to people from other countries?

Better read and answer this quick because it'll probably get taken off as well..

I think its because you come off like you are little crazy. Just my opinion of course but if you have a question don't start it with a rant.

The freedom of speech does not apply to all media. Yahoo is a private company and can delete any content they want to.

You can rent a website and create a page all about Bush, and no-one will remove it unless you fail to pay the rent. You can take out an ad in a newspaper, and you can write a book. There is plenty of speech against Bush and the war, but those people used othere media, and often had to pay for it.

You do have the right to free speech that's why you can post your question. However, once you post it, you have to understand that some people may be offended by what you said. And they have the right to report you if they are offended. and yahoo has the right to take down any material it deems inappropriate. So basically your screwed no matter what you do. and you can't buy a baby on eBay. You have to go to Africa to buy babies. JUST KIDDING.

1. You are dumb.

2. The first amendment protects freedom of speech from GOVERNMENT oppression. A private company can stop you from using their servers to say anything they want to stop you from saying. The government has nothing to do with it.

3. You can't sell a baby on ebay.

4. You are dumb.

Well, the 1st Amendment only prevents government from stopping your free speech.

This is Yahoo!, a private entity, and they have every right to delete anything on their property.

Listen pal, first of all get all your facts straight!!

That crap you just listed in your question wasn't true/correct. So next time make sure you inform yourself well enough before posting questions like that.

You seem British so yeah, you probably don't even know what you're talking about yourself. At your end y'all don't seem to know what freedom of speech even means, do ya?
